Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, this, in particular, can be deemed true when I think about my love for photography. Every perspective is unique and every capture a story to be told…and as you scroll through the pictures on this website you will interpret them differently than I do and comprehend the story they have to tell in different ways than I have. 

 

While I have been passionate about photography for years, the motivation to follow through with this passion was driven by the urgency of the issue I was introduced to within my community. This issue concerns children with Congenital Heart Defects (CHD). 

 

In China, at least 100,000-150,000 children are diagnosed with CHD annually. Unfortunately, multiple of these children come from families who are financially unable to account for these surgeries which can cost up to 30,000 RMB (4694.25 USD). 

 

Thus came about the idea of combining my passion for photography together with making a meaningful contribution that will support these children.

 

Starting this year I plan to host curated exhibitions displaying both my own work and work from other artists willing to be part of this journey. You can read about the contributing artists on this page. 100% of the sale proceeds from the exhibitions will be donated to funding surgeries of young children suffering from CHD, giving them a chance to live a healthy life. 

 

The first exhibition was hosted on 4th December, 2021 in Shanghai and the artwork is now available for sale digitally on this website. Pictures bought digitally can be ordered in a choice of frames shown under the purchasing tab, and you can expect to receive a framed piece of art to adorn your surroundings. 100% of digital sale proceeds will also go for the surgeries of children.
